It may go over the road out front, but it cannot get us way up our driveway...WA4HPoultryMom, Greg and Monicas out on Duvall-Carnation-Monroe area will get flooded before we will.
Now the Chehalis may flood Chehalis and I-5 again...that was BAD!
But with King Tides, all the rivers will be held back by the Tides.
And the snow melt hasn't even begun yet...

Speaking of meeting up at future shows, who's coming to the Cascade Show in Monroe on March 19th? Website with info: http://washingtonfeatherfanciers.webs.com/

I plan on being there! If all goes as it should, DH should at least have a good start on my coop by then. So, birds are usually for sale at these shows, correct? Pullets, hens, etc.? Could be scary, (for the pocketbook) but I'm excited to see birds!

Yep, there are normally birds there for sale.

I really, really want to go, but I have a feeling I may not. I'll do whatever it takes though!

I'm not so sure about that ... It's been raining hard in the mountains!

In November 2006 when the lower Snoqualmie Valley was flooding, our weather station measured 18" in 24 hours, and 24" in less than 48 hours! My weather station is broken now (toppled over in a 70mph wind), but the amount of rain we have been getting seems similar ...nonstop squall!

I'm going to go out in it now to shovel some bark into my chicken run to keep my birds from drowning.

OH no I forgot !!!

So, what do you think ? Should I enter a trio, my Cockeral and 2 pullets r/c Rhode Island White ??
Best get them back in the SOP !!
It should work, I think all the green paint is off of them by now

I am going to town and going to take the camera and see what is flooded, it is high tide now, not a KING tide though...

Never saw Memento though.

I did enjoy Inception and was pretty entertained, but oh! Memento is one of my top 10 faves. I had to watch it over again the next day just to work it all out properly in my head. I think you might really enjoy it Illia.

Oh ya, I remember when I-5 flooded. It was very bad.

Well, I guess there is one good thing about having glacial till soil. It does drain pretty well.

Since it is warm out was thinking this would be a perfect day to clean out the greenhouse and I will stay dry.

Seems like I'm not that close to most people on this thread but if anyone gets flooded and needs help let me know. I can make room for extra chickens for a while. I even have room for a few livestock. I am about 25 minutes from the Narrows Bridge just outside of Gig Harbor. There is not too much flooding around here since we are not near any big rivers but just sayin. I have room if you need it.

Okay I got a bit distracted. So now there are lemon meringue tarts at mt house.

That's a pretty productive and delicious distraction!
