and on another note, anyone close have a serama hen or pullet they would like to part with? My lil roo was the only roo here and then I got a big orp roo and larry the serama is really upset that he took his ladies...so upset he tried to flog the big roo off his best girl. I feel bad for him so would like to get him a girl. he is a B class I think. need something close.

All 9 of my birds are now laying, and I got 8 eggs today! One of my EE's has given me an egg a day for 8 days! the other did 5, 1 day off, the 3 days in a row. My SLW's may not be good quality birds, but they lay big eggs. Both started laying within the past 4 days. I never got little pullet eggs from them.

My SLW looks like someone drew little elk hoofrints on her feathers with a sharpie marker! (Compare this one to the birds at Paul's Poultry). She lays large, yellowish/brown eggs.

What you all went to bed without me? I am once again all alone, and talking to myself again. It's a good thing that I am self entertaining. I am also officially a human mom to toddlers.
This is Spot the wonder dog.

This is Miss Dot playing with her brother Spot. Dotty is bigger than Spot, and she is better at toddling. They haven't learned that they can make the big dog cry yet. That is next on the development list. This isn't going to go over very well with me. Big Dog has been barking a lot over the past couple of weeks, and he is driving me crazy with the noise.

I just saw that Teddie the one eyed pirate dog is in the background of the first picture. He was very cranky a bit ago. He gets tired and we should all know better than to bother him.

It is kind of hard to be scared of a 5 lbs dog.
