Just making sure! Just though they were from a hatchery due to the "I" in Ameraucana!

got any mixed eggs? its time for me to hatch some chicks for the hordes of "its spring lets get chicks" peeps... blue eggs are a plus breeding not really cared about by many urban chicken peeps.

Anyone out there have some comfrey?? I hear it makes ducks lay plenty of eggs. My ducks are currently on strike.

I have some comfrey plants. Well, right now, I have comfrey roots underground. If you would like some roots I can mail some to you. It just takes a little piece to make a big big patch, well, over time. My chickens go wacky over the stuff and I use it to make compresses for sore body parts on me. It's great to help sprains and broken bones and such heal much faster.
I haven't caught up to the current posts so I don't know if anyone has already offered.

No eggs. Just chicks. You have to hatch a LOT of araucanas to get a few show birds. I just made a deal with the local feed store, but will give them away to BYCers too, so long they they don't intend to just resell them for profit. There will be a few each week- mostly white, black, a few blues and whoops colors from time to time.
