All the neighbors I care about know we're getting them and apparently previos owners of our house have had them in the past! My neighbor across the street told me they used to have bantans in the back yard here, lol. Of course, that was most likely in the early 70's when the house was built...as far as I can tell, the house has only been sold twice since 1973 and the second time was to us!
The only neighbor I don't plan on telling is the one directly behind me...she's a "female dog" IMO.
I do plan on planting some Morning Glory on trellises to block her view...but mostly to keep her monster dog from barking it's fool head off at them all the time! It finally stopped barking at us in our yard after 2 years of it living there!

The Okanogan County Sheriff's Department & the Methow Valley are going to be on! This is part 2 of 2 (the first half was last Saturday night).
Sheriff Frank Rogers is one of the many officers that helped us evacuate our house (and helped catch our horses) during the Oden Road Fire in 2009.
I work for Okanogan County and among many of these guys. They're awesome!
Oh and the Methow Valley is just over the hill from me...about 20 minute drive. I live on the eastern side of Loup Loup Pass.
