It was awesome to get to meet you. Oh, and Donna, Poochy, Marigold, and Henrietta say 'thank you' for the nummy treats. They devoured that watermelon in about 10 minutes.... although they were forced to share with my sister.

Cheap land. We were tired of being able to see five different yards from our kitchen window.

I can so relate to the five yards from the window. But both DH and I are King County natives. We did manage to live in Clark County for three years, but then we had to come back.

I manage to survive for the eight weeks I'm here every year, but by the time I go home I'm going, "AIR!! I need AIR! And SILENCE!!"

It was awesome to get to meet you. Oh, and Donna, Poochy, Marigold, and Henrietta say 'thank you' for the nummy treats. They devoured that watermelon in about 10 minutes.... although they were forced to share with my sister.

I am happy that everyone got a share of the watermelon. I had to spend the day buying a bird cage and accessories. Then had to come home and convince 3 finches that the new cage and stranger in the cage was a great idea. From there I had to drive to Renton in the rain. It wasn't too bad until I had to get gas in the worst part of the storm. I was hiding behind my car as the gusts of wind and water came flying at me like a fire hose. I should have bought gas yesterday. My Mother in Law is a very happy camper tonight, and was thrilled that I was able to get her the little birds today. At least I made MiL points. It just took all day to do it. I can't whine too much though, my son and DiL took us to lunch.

Ugh. *shudder* Yeah, the rain today was pretty nasty... My sister actually WALKED to a friend's house. Came home looking like a drowned rat, poor unhappy little girl.
