Okay I am off to bed, all the nasty little dogs are stressing out because all they want is for me to get in bed and stay there.

As far as what I want, any Orps of any color would be great. They are probably my favorites. I also like Wheaten and Black Copper Marans. Any large breed with docile temperament, the chance to go broody, av. to above av. egg production, and hardiness is what I'm looking for. 8-10 to start with so I can ease into things and not get overwhelmed.(does that ever happen?

Its all good though, cause I am getting my incubator, and parts for my coop!!!

I was able to get the pop door framed in yesterday, and starting to buile up one side of the coop, so the roof will slant. It's getting there, and every little bit of non rainy day helps to get it finished!

Just wanted to check and see if there's any interest in the following STARTED chicks:

golden laced cochin (large fowl)
BLRW bantams
light sussex

I am thinking about setting these in a few months but I thought I'd check and see if there is anyone interested in buying what I'm not keeping for myself?

If so, just PM me and let me know...prices will vary but probably start at $8-$10 per started chick.

Thanks!

From yer neighbor in Ethel,WA. Check with Jim Lucas at Del's in Chehalis. He is the old guy either in the warehouse or in the porch swing out front on wednesday saturday and sunday.

He breeds a lot and if Jim doesn't have what you want he probably knows who does. I know you said you want LF but consider checking out the RIR Bantams. They are awesome little friendly laying machines that produce a nice size egg and don't eat near as much as LF. There is also a guy in Napavine that has a lot of breeds but I personally don't care to deal with him.
