Anyone near Tacoma looking for free pallets? There's a ton of them just across the street from me right now, and I can see them! (I'm at work.) If you're interested contact Matt to make sure he doesn't dispose of them.

The Tacoma Weekly has about two dozen standard wood pallets that need to disappear. They're free, so come and take any or all of them. They're piled in the alley behind our building at 4412 6th Ave., so they're available for the taking 24/7. Call Matt at 759-5773 with any questions.

Sorry your chickies are being sickies. Hope all works out well for ya. I don't know for chickens but think it would be the same and IF I remember right from our goat daze Cocci is in the ground. And some are just more sensitive to it.
I am trying to figure out if the weather is nasty out because I am going to need a nap later or if I woke up waaay too early so I could nap through the nasty weather. Yes we were getting snow dumped pretty hard just before but now it is just raining.

Of course it has to turn nasty because I am trying to get a load of steel ready to go to town. Speaking of that for any of you crafty people. I have a bunch of saw blades if interested. I have 19" and 28" round and 13" band. PM me SOON if ya are interested otherwise it is going in the next load of scrap.

No, it turned nasty because my baby trees arrived today. It's not snowing hard here, but it's not digging weather.

It seems to have stopped at least for now. Maybe I'll go out and decide exactly where the trees will be planted.

It has been mentioned to me that there are a number of people that would like to me meet up in the South Sound area. So when is a good time or day to meet up? We could meet up at any of the Starbucks locations through out the area. I also think that we could meet every other month at locations further North and then further South on the other months. We could make the Northern location in Bonney Lake or Puyallup, and the Southern location in Olympia if that works for the group.

I will say that for me during the daylight hour works better for me. I prefer to not drive after dark if I can help it. So any other ideas?

CL : I love the gizmos you have.
I've use your fence idea with the bird netting idea and am building my own.
The hatching in a plastic basket will be used in my hatcher next week for my first duckie.
The plastic tub thing will come next, but I was also thinking of inverting the halloween tubs.
And now there is a water can?
I just got to see it.
And when I'm finally done building all these new toys and duck run / coop, I'll show you my pics.
What an enabler!
