You can always take them to H&R for a free second look after you file them. If anything is wrong, an ammended return is $99 and if the returns are within $13 of each other, it is still free and you get their guarantee (they will pay interest in penalties and audit help should the IRS have a problem with your return). Their downloadable software for $19.99 is really good (claims you need the $29 version if you own a home, but that is B.S. - the $29 version just has more instructions) You can do up to 5 returns on the software. for $79 they have a "Best of Both" you do your taxes online then go to the office and have a Sr. tax advisor look over it for any errors. Some people really take advantage of this offer, especially people with very complicated, expensive return. They enter like 1 of their 6 rental properties, com to the office and have them completed, so they pay only $79 for something that shold cost several hundred. Our office finds missed money on nearly all the Turbo Tax returns, mostly people missing the sales tax deduction.

Does the 19.99 version include Schedule C and F?

hey I was in there today and mentioned BYC to a guy that was visiting, was that you?

and if anyone has extra boxes Monroe farm and feed is out and they really need boxes. they are sending chicks home in paper bags lol. so if your headed that way they could use any extra you might have.

If I was standing over by the fireplace trying to dry off from being out in the rain today, That would of been me.
Nice to seee some BYC people getting together at the Monroe Supply store.
I told 'em if they had coffee and free WIFI I'd never leave. Just can't help being in a good old fastion Ma & Pa Farm supply store.
It's real down home type supply, very friendly!!!

Honestly, I wish they couches!

the only way I can get the medical treatment I need is to be disabled, yet if I get the medical treatment I stay in remission and I am fine. I can work right along with everyone else should I gain remission. the catch is, I cant work when sick, lose my job and any medical I had so then I have to be disabled and take what the state gives me...cept they wont give me... I would rather work and get my own insurance. when I am sick I would rather pay the state for insurance premiums than take their disability but they wont let me do that either. its all stupid.... dang now I got a head ache and could crab all day about this. but I think I am going to go to bed instead!

IOne of my best friends has systemic lupus. She can't get insurance in this state. When she lived in California, they had a program paid for by cigarette tax money. Anyone denied insurance because of pre-existing medical conditions can buy insurance through the state for a very reasonable rate (This was in the mid 90's - I think she paid $130 per month which was cheaper than what I paid through my job). She wished they had the same program here when she moved to WA. She used to drive to Canada for treatment, but recently found a Dr. who takes cash at a reasonable charge.

Well, we had that. It's called WA Basic Health but I guess it's just been cut.

There is also another one we looked into for when our Cobra ran out. We were self employed and no insurance would take us since DH was high risk. It's called WA State Insurance Pool. They aren't discount rates but they take anyone that can't get insurance. I think for my DH alone it was going to cost $400 a month. He ended up handing me the reins of the business and got a job with bennies. That was about 5 yrs ago so not sure if it's still available.

DS (10) is coming with me, stay at the Guesthouse Inn!
big_smile.png

Just made the reservations. So we are at the Guesthouse Inn and the DD (9 - actually 10 in 2 months) will be there. I will tell her that there will be other little girls there. She will have fun.

I'll have my 2 year old DD with me. It should be an interesting day!

LOL...it will. I am hoping that my DD really likes the chickens...she and I are needing something that we can do more together and I am hoping I can get her interested in the showing. Maybe 4-h, the incubator, etc.

You can always read it by going to "my posts" and the bottom of the index page and clicking the [New Posts] link under the thread, too.

There might be an easier way, though. I'll have to think about that...
