glad you didn't swerve....or you'll be posting about a smashed up car and higher premiums and no way of getting to work....or worse.
It is too bad for the beaver, but if it makes you feel any better, you could do something nice for the beaver or wild critter population in some other way??

Yes cehck yer can a beaver is very solid and is like hitting a big rock..

And on the critters subject. For the last several days while cooking DW's breakfast I have been able to watch a bald eagle out the kitchen window. It is about 150 yards away. Some times there are 2 but the other is just getting it's white so it is still a juvenile! But since we rarely see it and this is here a lot I am thinking they may have a nest not far off. I hope so .... love to watch them. And I don't have much concern about our chickens since all my runs are enclosed. Now Michelle's are a different story as they are out free range in an un protected area. She does have a very good roo though. We watched him take the hens to cover one day when an eagle flew over.

Mine were splits, they were getting new homes because they aren't really Coronations. Not using them for Sussex breeding though.

Hello my fellow Washingtonians! I'm from Vancouver out in the boonies and on the outskirts of Camas in SW WA. I was wondering if any of you know any bantam cochin breeders in WA or OR. I'm looking for mottled or mille fleur particularly, and will be getting a chick in May to add to the other girls I'm raising this spring.
