Yep. Muff/beard issue is not in these boys though, but it is in the blue girls I'm getting rid of. The black girl is, however, not from Cree lines, in fact I got her from someone who got theirs from a Sebastopol breeder. No clue as to where that lady's originate from.

Takes 2 generations for Wheaten to show up, 3 for it to breed true. Wheaten is recessive to E/E extended (what straight blue or black have) but it isn't hard at all to do.

what kind of dogs do you have/show? I used to want to do this so bad....looks like I am heading toward chicken showing now though. I always wanted an English spaniel. But all my mutskies have kind of found me.

Oh, my gosh Heather....I am so sorry. Hope all gets better. Between the snow melting and this crazy rain, I understand. I wish there was something I could to help. This weather is insane.

I have a showing question. All the showing I've done is with dogs and horses. You actually have to SHOW them or hire someone. I guess all this time I'm thinking I'd have to learn how to SHOW chickens if I so desired. I seem to be getting the impression that you don't actually have to show them? you just prepare them and take them to the show, stick them in a cage and that's it?
