I have no issues with muff /beard either, just wanted to have outside lines brought into the flock...my Jazzy Blue Ameruacana Cock is awesome !
I just was looking for an outside line....
I would love to see chickens with little leashes being put through their paces, wouldn't you?

Basically, yeah. It's the big thing that takes the fun out of poultry showing. . . It isn't as, shal I say, involved, as dog showing. Which makes it a terrible spectator event.

what kind of dogs do you have/show? I used to want to do this so bad....looks like I am heading toward chicken showing now though. I always wanted an English spaniel. But all my mutskies have kind of found me.
I have Miniature Pinschers, the dog I showed today was my first champ, he was top ten in the nation two years in a row, he has won just about everything at one point or another except for best in show. he has sired and is the grandsire to national specialty winners, top 20 winners and multi best in show dogs. so he has been pretty successful. he has been retired for years but he still loves to show so I take him once in a while. he really shines even though he is old. I also have had poms, and boxers and borzoi.
I started showing the dogs, I now show horses and have shown some of our cars too! lol and they win!!
How very fun. I have 2 poms right now...but backyard bred type. I love them though. My other 3 pups are mutts. I have always loved Min Pins. Very neat about your dog doing so well in the show ring...it is always something I wanted to do...but never had the opportunity to do it.
