The females aren't that bad....plus, they are super-quiet, very hardy and make great mothers. I have had one duck now for almost 8 years (she will be 8 in August) and she's so funny. She's the boss of all the other ducks and still going strong at her age. She still lays and still sets. She hatched me out goslings and ducklings last summer and two years ago, incubated an amazing batch of 19 ducklings!

That is scary looking to me...looks too much like a chicken waiting to pounce...
I know she is scheming..and all the red and bumpy parts, just freaky...only to me...
