I wondered if it was raining up at your house. I went to Home Depot to pick up some lumbar and it looked nasty your way and South. It sprinkled here, but that has been it. We actually finished our chicken project of the day. I am going to post photos here soon.

I am going to come up for some of that pie...Yum Yum Yum.

I took two of those concrete mixer trays (like you have for your birds with sand for them to bathe in) and I put them under my roosts. They poop in them, I dump them out and easy to clean and sterilize. Work great.

Very cute photos....and sorry about the camera...LOL. My kids have done fun stuff like that. When DD was around 3 she used the disc thingy on DH 'puter for her sippy cup that had apple juice in it....yep, fried the computer when he went and pushed the disc thing back in.

Auburn has had one the last two years but it's pretty tiny. It's at the train station on Sundays. We bought eggs from a lady there and she indicated they weren't doing that well with sales. Might not be a good one to try.

We have a wonderful Farmer's Market here in Omak/Okanogan....Also, the one in Twisp is really good (at least the last time I was there).

This is probably too much of a commute though .... I am sorry. But they are good.

Okay, here is some of what I spent the day doing. I know part of the Cocci problem in my run is the wild birds getting in. Also everything has been so wet and I hated the ladies getting soaked all the time. The roof we put on is at the far end with only a minimal pitch, but the rain will stay off the birds and I will finish a real roof later this summer - we will reuse most of what we put up today, I just need to buy more things to make the roof correctly. From there I put the netting I had got from RFF all around the run. The landscaping material that you see hanging down was to kind of help to deter the birds too. I did not think that we would get the rest of the netting up today. But....DH was on a roll. He put up the PVC pipes to use as "rafters" and we were able to get the netting (that we bought from a roadside vender - coming home from the Monroe show). My pen is now almost tweety bird proof. They may find a small space to get in but the hundreds and hundreds of them that have visited will not be able to get in or out quickly. I feel my birds are safer now.

I wish I had cleaned up all the scraps before I took these - they would have looked a bit nicer

The little girl's run with the rabbit pen. The rabbit had the run of the "run" almost all winter. The black plastic above the cage did have hay holding it down, but the rabbit chewed holes in it (yes she went on top of the cage) and now I need to clean it up. In the photo are: Matilda in the front, Then Emily and Amelia, if you look closely Juliet and Sophie are under the Chick-n-hut. The gat is open, I have no clue why they were in there.

And just for fun: when I had the camera out the BR bitties wanted to know if it was a treat. Up close and personal.

I really need a shower now.

The one in Everett is pretty good. And I like the one in Mukilteo. Those are the ones I attend.

Rainwolf is hatching the rest of the eggs. I should be getting them from her in a few days. in the mean time, I've given it a fuzzy sock. I don't have stuffed animals any more. My boys are in their twenties. Thank you for the offer.

I have a day old duckling you can "borrow" I know you don't want ducks...this one is a loaner.

I borrowed a couple of chicks from Rainwolf . Her chicks are the same age, but they seem stronger and steadier on their feet. I may have gotten some sickly chicks.

People who eat a poor diet, ie. all processed and fast food (full of fillers and junk anyway).

Ebay is the last place Id get eggs from. Well it woul dbe a close last between MPC and a lot of other places. Thers no repurcussions form ebay, they only have to get most of the eggs to you UNBROKEN and taht is all their obligation.

Mom eats well, seldom junk food.
She is very clean, and has had very good health.
She is however, more than likely to have been on a steroid to prevent immunal response to the implant, and possible reject repercussions I would imagine.
But I have never seen any intense invasive surgery NOT give antibiotics, especially to a little old 80 year old woman.
And why did they not repond sooner to her discomfort ?
Well, that is water under the brdge now.
So far she is holding on.
They cannot MRI due to the implanted pacemaker, so they are going to do a cat scan to look for signs of back & spinal infection.
Why no spinal tap while she is out ?
I do not know.
An infection in the kidneys is awful close to the spine
hmm.png
Last time I talked to DH he said they had a Urology specialist there to see about the kidneys shutting down & possible treatment for that...they have already done a few blood transfusions....so she should not need dialysis at this particular moment...I will let ya all know if anything changes though~~
I am bored!
I need to quilt!!!

So I bet no spinal tap becasue if there is some nasty stuff in there it will make it move. With my son the Dr waited until he had a CAT scan becasue he said if there is an infection that it could kill him if he got one. something about the infection going to his brain and blood stream...
I hate the waiting game its so hard to just sit on your hands and do nothing but pray... Im sorry..
