We shall see after candling.
Anywho, I will be back later on.

OH!! When the Post Master came & bought chicks, he left my mail (personal mail delivery..woo hoo!) and in the mail was the package with my shopping bag & pot holder from ReiMrra......and it is sooo cute!
The pot holder is a farm/chickens on one side & chicken wire on the other!!
Nice!
I wonder if she can make a produc bag with a flat bottom on it like the one Toni won in the raffle ?

I think so....I will have to dig around and see if I have any green beads left...not a real popular color...I know I have some brighter greens but I don't think I have any darks...but I'll check...

So you're wanting three chickens on there? Two on each side and one in the middle?

Normally, I do a chicken as the pendant in the middle. I could then do a couple accent chickens on the sides?

These are the colors I have in the chickens....

Lighter green will work too...yes one pendent & a chicken on each side of the pendent, black chickens. 3 total chickens.
Man those are cute!

Better order more beads!

Give you something to do while you waite for that baby!
I will be back later...

they grow like weeds in the spring here and sometimes in the fall if its rainy enough and in an area recently burned... then again many forests where i live have burned alot so this area produces a few hundred pounds and it is spread over the elevation of the mountains through the season....

one of these days i want to train a dog to sniff for truffels at fir trees....

my dogs all dig up truffles in my yard. did not train any of them to do it either. once one of them digs up something tasty the others catch right on. they dig up the Oregon truffles.

My little wiener dog digs up truffles and brings them to me! I keep the nice firm ones, and give the softer mushier ones back to the dogs. lol We propbably get 3-4 a week here.

okay....I'll have to go and check out my stash and see what I have....the sun is trying to come out so I'm going to eat some lunch and go out to feed/water before the rain starts back up. I have 10 black cottonwoods to find new planting spots for, too!

Hospitals are full of all sort of creepy crawlies. You put a bunch of people that have compromised health in one area and you get all sorts of fun stuff. MRSA, Clostridium difficile, mycoplasmal pneumonias, etc. However, more and more testing is being done when people are admitted and contact precautions (full gown, mask, gloves for anyone entering room) for those who are infected.

I worked in a hospital for a while.
I had to full drape & mask a few times and go in and feed sick patients.
One time as I was doing so, the old man hurled all over me...glad I was draped !
One thing I still do not understand is the implatation of anything into the body (most especially something so deep & close to the pericardium) with NO antibiotic sent home !
In surgery, we always prescribed a profilactic antibiotic with oral surgery especially as the very staph can enter the blood stream and guess where it goes ?
Straight to the pericardium & the heart is infected.
DH has a SS plate in his foot, for 10 years now, and still, he gets a profilactic antibiotic before dental work due to possible staph infections.
Antibiotics are sometimes misused and over prescribed, but in the case of implantation, and deep invasive surgery, I think the ounce of prevention is worth many millions of pounds of cure, and in this case, possible death.
How is your classes going ?

Was it a same-day surgery or was she at the hospital awhile? Could they have given her antibiotics via an IV or other route while she was in the hospital? They do have some antibiotics that stay in the body for awhile now. I am sorry your mother in law is having problems. Stable is a good thing. I'm assuming since she's still intubated and has an NG tube she is still in ICU? The nice thing is in ICU there is a much lower pt ratio- in the hospital I am doing clinical in each ICU nurse has one to two patients at any given time.

I love being a student nurse so far,.

Very cute photos....and sorry about the camera...LOL. My kids have done fun stuff like that. When DD was around 3 she used the disc thingy on DH 'puter for her sippy cup that had apple juice in it....yep, fried the computer when he went and pushed the disc thing back in.

Mine decided that the CD player was a juke box & stuck a quatrer in in. LOL
That was that.

i tried it once. my prototype turned out icky.... my sewing machine is not able to get in and stich the spot i would have to.

the easy way around this problem is to find a cardboard about the size of the bottom and place it in and you have a square bottom.

otherwise with my knowledge of sewing so far it is out of my ability or capability of the machine to make a bag (also requires origami which i stink at)

but i am glad it got there so fast.
