Hi everyone, I found my way here thanks to a couple of friends that said to follow the "Washington Thread". Now that I know this thread, it's not quite so overwhelming! If I get some time, I will look at how to post some pics. I'm so envious of those with both good computer skills and the time to fiddle with it!
I can't wait for the Stevenson show, my entry is already in and if you know me, that never happens. Double entry fee for late entries was good incentive. I promised Marjorie I would bring 10 silkies for the national so I have them entered, none spectacular, but they'll be there! A couple of them are white showgirls and I hope someone else is showing the showgirls as well. Sounds like we will have a good turnout of silkies. Now that I'm a Marans club member I figured I should get some input on mine so am showing 2 of them as well as 3 large fowl cochins and the usual array of bantam cochins and frizzles. I bravely entered a pair of Sebastapols as this time of year they look pretty ratty, but if the male can leave the females head alone......
I finally have fertile Sebastapol eggs in the incubator, some from a lovely pair I got from Jean Ribbeck (thanks Jean if you read this!) and may have a few goslings for sale by then. I had a good hatch of Black copper marans chicks that I will probably bring and am trying to find something to donate for the breeders auction.
I didn't have a chance to meet many at the Monroe, show, will there be a table in Stevenson?
Thanks for the welcome!
Sheryl
