I just read where you said you had snow...ick...keep it....it is so cold even down here in the valley. I have a momma hen with babies under her in a special cage, have it wrapped in plastic and a heat lamp to try and keep them all warm. Someone told me, today, that tomorrow is suppose to be 65...I sure as heck hope so....way to cold for me. It was the Omak Fire Chief who was telling me about the fire, they must have called out everyone if Omak was up there.

I instantly thought of you when he told me about it. I figured there is probably not much to burn around you, any more, but still made me worry.

No and we still have snow in the shade up here....I tried unsuccessfully on Sunday to burn some stumps that are 5 years old...I even poured diesel on them and used paper...nope, too wet.
