The term "chicken math" refers to the fact that you have three or four and suddnely you have 50.
That said, you still do not come to your senses until you suddenly have to go to the feed store and blow $100 a month.and then still suddenly is 150..........get it ??

You know what. At first my husband said no more than 6. Last week he said no more than 20, now I have 24+ egg being shipped to me, and 17 varying ages of chicks, along with my 4 adults! lol Do the math. Now THATS chicken math! Chickens multiply even when you dont have a mature roo!!!

Oh and what types do you have? Or are you just starting out?

HI GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got feed at Patriot Farms & stopped by All-Stor to look at the hundreds of storage barns the guy makes..in Rochester.
He made THIS barn we made into our cabin.

Found out FiL is planning a drive up (& extended stay

) Friday...I've no where to put him so we stopped to look at 8x8 mini barns, SO COOL!!!!!!!!!
Even a 12 foot by 16 foot is $3750. !!!!!!!!
delivered to your site is $130.00 or so...make a level spot, instant barn...I LOVE that idea !!
It would be a place for people to stay while here, like FiL, or my daughter, or Rainwolf, or T-Hi!!!!! Or Boldog, or whom ever!!!!!!!!

So..I am seriously looking into it.
Don't know if he has a web site, but it is "all-Stor" in Rochester, not far off I-5 before Chehalis....Very Nice Stuff!!!!

Patriot Farms owner, Scott, has just told me he will give me a discount on his own personal broiler feed...awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the meantime we are swamped with work here!!!
And chicks!!!!!!
And now FiL is coming....

I already have done chicken math them. We started with 4. Then went back to the chicken store and 3 more just "happened" to make it into the car with us on the way home.
