Would one soak one's own head in bleach? Might be a good starting question.
Ok I know that some people may not have grown up with animals and may not know you don't use bleach on any thing but clothes, but, I can not believe the comments!!! Really?? Like no one in this world has ever made a mistake?? As a Vet tech I have seen some stuff!! But, you would generally not hear a Vet tell a client anything like that!! Thank God the bird is ok, but WOW! talk about crucifying??? I don't have any white birds to clean, and I have never given a chicken a bath, but, I would imagine using a horse whitening shampoo would work? I know for blood we use Hydrogen peroxide and water, I would imagine as long as the bird didn't ingest anything it would be safe?? Just wondering?
On another note, I know someone out there has a Brinsea Octo 20, I just got mine and I plugged it in to check the temp before I get eggs to hatch It's at 100 right now and I turned it down, should I lift the lid and cool it down? ( there isn't anything in there) And, do you guys weight your eggs on top of candling? And do you candle at day 8 or 10 days? I have an auto turner, but I'm worried about the humidity
? I don't have a way to check it? I'm trying some test eggs in a few days, so I'm trying to get it ready to roll. Any experienced advice is always more than welcome!!! I'm sure I will have more questions in a minute!! LOL!
