Sometimes, horses are mental cases and cannot be helped or changed....despite the training that is attempted. It's sad, really but when it comes right down to a horse vs a human life....sorry, horse loses. They are just such huge & powerful animals and there are too many good ones out there needing great homes.....

Anyway, sorry about what's going on. I got a little side-tracked.

I think this one is a nut case. He is a very nice grey and I am very partial to them but if it were mine he would not be standing right now. Can ya say lead injection and dirt nap !!

Michelle just text me and said fractured pelvis!

Gray Jays are not the same bird as Clark's Nutcrackers; they have short bills, dark head feathers, and softer, fluffier plumage. They were my Dad's camp robber, and stole lunches when he was logging and sparkplugs when he was working on equipment; one once took all the D-rings off my backpack while it was on top of the car while we were packing at Olympic Hotsprings.

Ravens, Crows, Magpies, and Jays are all in the same harsh-voiced family, the Corvids. They are smart, social out of breeding season, noisy, indescriminate in their eating habits, and prone to having a sense of humor, with humans as the butt of all their jokes. And they are all thieves, and proud of it, by the way they act.

Work party update- NONE of the boys showed up!!!!

I wasn't much help! I started shoveling and got light headed and dizzy. Sat down for a minute. Then when I bent over to line up cinder blocks I puked!

Luckily I have a couple that lives next door who are awesome and helped us lift the run up and lay it on it's back. Then after we cleaned everything and had it all ready they came back over and helped us put it back down.

So for the most part it is done. There is nothing level on it anymore! I have to try to figure out how to fix it without having to lift it back up! Oh well. Those girls busted their booties today. So I got pizza & cookie dough for them.

I'm hurting and exhausted. I made DD take ibuprofen before going to bed so she hopefully won't be too sore.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear that!! May 5th is the anniversary of my broken shoulder via stupid horse, but pelvis?!? She's lucky to have a friend like you close by...

Sorry you had such a rough day...

T HI If ya just need to lift it a little to make things level. Get some wood "shims" they are basically wood wedges abd you should be able to drive then between the floor and the cinder blocks.

We have 30 cinder blocks under it and the girls didn't understand what I was trying to do so it's kinda catty-wompus all over! Both doors are not locking properly. It's gonna take more than shims to fix it unfortunately. But that will have to be another day. I'm not going to be able to move for awhile....

Michelle's cousin text me and said "not his fault (the horse) Not her fault just one huge accident" Hello that horse made the choice to do what he did it didn't just happen! He has done stupid too many times and there comes a point when ya gotta think with yer head not yer heart.
