Sometimes, horses are mental cases and cannot be helped or changed....despite the training that is attempted. It's sad, really but when it comes right down to a horse vs a human life....sorry, horse loses. They are just such huge & powerful animals and there are too many good ones out there needing great homes.....

Anyway, sorry about what's going on. I got a little side-tracked.

I hope your friend is ok and it really was just an accident.

I agree with the fact that if this animal is untrainable - don't send it to a rescue - send it to a processing plant ... can you say ALPO? There are too many good animals that need forever homes and trying to let dangerous, wild, or just too sick animals live takes up the room for a good animal that could use that forever home....again talking about any kind of critter.

I did miss it! Stayed out and played with the big kids last nite and by the time I fed all the critters, DH included, and got things cleaned up, I was too cross-eyed to read...

I thought the burial at sea was really odd, too! I don't know that much about the Muslim religion, but I thought they were buried on their side and in relation to Mecca somehow. Kind of hard to do at sea...

I guess the cleansing part would certainly be accomplished.

And NO disrespect intended towards Muslims! I don't consider that lunatic, fanatical, maniacal murdering monster as practicing anything close to what a true Muslim believes any more than Hitler thought he was a Christian...

I agree! I have little tolerance for animals that can't seem to learn how to behave. Hope Michelle is doing ok.

On another note, my Orpington looked chipper and bright eyed this morning.

I think I will put her in with her flockmates for a little while this evening for a visit.

Ok totally with the celebrating

was wondering if anyone around the Rochester chehalis olympia area had a over abundance of fun hatching eggs they need to find homes for my incubator is almost out off eggs and my girls outside are sitting so. Have a few hatching today and tomorrow. and then we will be out. and i am excited to announce that this whole just cooking the eggs is fun. All except the watched pot never boils thing thats lame.

Yea, I agree! I'm not trying to be disrespectful either, but, I guess I don't consider radical's a true representation of their religion. I believe there were Muslims that would agree?
That was our song too!! I went to Orlando Jan 1982!! Man it was cold in the Am standing on the parade ground!! BRRRRRRR LOL

I think they did the right thing tho, cause had they given the body back can you imagine what more chaos and craziness would occur? Yea they can be mad we didn't give it back, but, I think it was the right thing to do, and hopefully, there were Muslims present to bring some "religious" aspect to it, ok for me, that's coming from a "christian" stand point, doing the right thing!
