did you know that these are all related to the Birds of Paradise too? you probably do, as you seem like a bird person.

I just learned that a few years ago though, when Nat'l Geo did an article on them. It was a good read.

Yup, and Starlings are close relatives of Mynahs.

I like chickens at least in part because they are birds.

Mynahs I like. They are cute. Very trainable. Starlings.....

Well, I can't answer for the flightyness of the Marans, but the Favs tend to lose that and settle right down as they reach POL.

If I need a few bags of feed to be dropped off in Pacific should I also fill out this form?

OMG that must have been terrifying. I hope you are feeling better. Did they look at parasites?
I'm going to my fav. chinese doctor/accupunturist this week. I could ask her if she has a clue. She has been right on, on a very difficult case last time I asked her. Just hard to get folks to believe her sometimes. Too bad.

There are more of us, but I think you and I are really the only regulars from Kitsap. lol I believe there is about 5-6 of us in Kitsap. I would be more than happy to have our own gathering. lol

As for the chickens / chicks that I have. I have 4 year old hens, Barred Rock, delaware, New Hampshire, and a Silky. Then I have 7 Wheaton/Blue Wheaton Ameraucanas, they are 8 1/2 weeks now. 4 Olive eggers, and 6 Blue/Black Ameraucanas. Then in the incubator I have 2 mixed bantams, 2 Cuckoo Marans crosses, 2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, 1 Light Sussex, 3 Cuckoo Marans, 1 that is iether French Black copper marans or a Cuckoo Marans, and 1 egg that I have NO clue what it is, as its marked Dinosaur Egg 'O Doom...

But because over half of the eggs that I had shipped to me didn't make it, I think I will be buying more eggs once this batch hatches out.

Have you seen any of it? Really lame.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've seen it, he can do better, maybe train under a good teacher...OK lots of teachers and they could have made an artist out of him...a very deranged artist, but still an artist, with a paint brush. Never discourage a child if they think they can do art...or anything for that matter. Every child should have a chance to grow. Hitler too.

Oh I know how frustrating that can be. Back in 2005 my liver shut down on me. So many tests were done and they couldnt figure it out. The county health department put me in quarentine for 60 days, as the hospital couldnt figure out what was wrong. They said Hep A, then B, the nope its gotta be C... Then a week later there was no indecation of anything being wrong. I was yellow from jondice for 3 months, was on a strict diet, wasnt allowed to leave the house for 2 months, couldnt even cook my own food. They never did figure out what it was that caused the failure...

Guess Im just one big anomaly. "sp?"

May be we both are. I had pass out issues off and on since I was a teen. This last one started with me getting out of bed cuz I had a horrible pain in my stomache then I said "oh god"

When I was 14, I started to have Black outs and dizzy spells, along with massive Migraines. I would be walking down the hall at school, and would just slump over and colapse. They never figured out what the issue was, and to this day I still have these episodes from time to time. then when I was 17, I was put through massive amounts of tests, and again the big tubular thumping machine, they found a mass at the base of my skull, actually right in the same spot that this supposed scar tissue is. But then two weeks later in the same machine, the mass was gone.

Ive had all sorts of unknown health issues throughout my life, had LOTS of scares, and some not so horible. Im still here, kicking and fighting.
