Congrats to babies and chicks!

*btw as soon as a quail baby is fluffy pull them from the bator... just sneak hand in and grab. They do not have the reserve that chicken chicks do. I grab the fluffies every 2 hrs when they start hatching


I would like to thank everyone for the offers on the walker for Alice. Greg came by today and donated one almost identical to the one stolen.

Alice was so please and wanted to thank you all for your thoughts and Greg for your donation!

She is now no longer house bound and can walk to the bus stop and go to the store or doctor etc. (bus stops are very close to her house, cross the street or up 3 houses so she does not have to walk far to maintain independence)

Hi all you Washington Chuck flick lovers.My chucks will be going on 10 weeks old beginning.on MondayI have them in my garden and they are doing great.I need to move them this weekend and finish the chicken run the we are building so they can work between the rows. Has anyone kept their chickens on a steady deit of the 100% organic chicken feed from the women in Bellingham? How is it working out for you and your flock?
