well I can tell you that my sister and I were on our horses in our pasture, in Grandview down here, we jumped off and unsaddled and ran in the house to watch TV, Yakima got covered, we however got a sprinkling and were spared pretty much, then we watched in horror the news about the people left on the mountain...hm come to think of it, I have the documentary, think I'll watch that today!!!

I was in Pusan, Korea.

yes I remember that -- also the long series about the couple who were "going to Tukwila" every day (or more) for years ... running series in .. might have been the Times, might have been the P-I ... embarrassing

chicks are getting smart on me, these days when I let them out of the old run, shepherding them over to the always moving chicken tractor, they are now FLYING most of the way ... I hardly need to drop any bread bits to entice them any more ... except for Phoebe, who seems to have become somewhat neurotic --- she is bottom of the pecking order and often can't seem to find a place at the feeder

Beautiful garden photos CGG! I really admire how many of you folks have green thumbs. I'm a klutz - I'm trying, but nothing is looking very good yet. I started some seeds, but from the looks of it may just have to buy a few plants to get some veggies going.
Interesting about the light sussex chicks. I have two, both identical except only one has the feathered legs. I'm trying to take photos of them but it's a challenge by myself. I need a chick wrangler while I focus. I'll get some chick pics up in the next couple of days.

Yes the "bumpm bumpm" music is contagious!
One line I say to my kids all the time is "Wipe yer moody boots!" I also love when Maureen goes to talk to the preist and he's trying to catch 'his' fish. He has it on and his line snaps. 'GOD HELP US' So funny!
If anyone has not seen this old classic I would recommend it highly! Maybe me being Irish helps me to love it more.

On the Brinsea Octagon 20, I understood that you fill both chambers with water and open the vent only 1/3 of the way to keep the humidity up, but still have enough ventilation. I think we need some other Brinsea users to chime in here.
