Congratulations CL for your incremental progress! May everything go quickly and without even the usual minor hitches!
Did I say here that I had my first escape today? Suzzy found a hole or made a hole ofrwidened what I thought was an inconsequential gap (they've been dealt with) and got out between putting the dye job on the line (a boring cream and red Ikea duvet cover for the living room chaise got overdyed with bright yellow) and hanging out the utility towels (cow OB, chicken transport dog bathing) that went in the hot-water-and-bleach wash after the dye. I went over to see what the Hamburgs and Wyandottes were fussing about- both of them sounded Very Concerned, but when I got past the chicken tractor it became obvious that I was getting the Roches in stereo, and I flipped' however, when I turned toward the left-hand speaker Suzzy was marching toward me with a look of utter command. The temporary gate is held on with multiple bungie cords, and she stood right next to me criticising my work speed while I undid them, then marched into the run and went to have a bit of a nosh from the feed dish.
I wish I'd had my camera with me, but I was in a hurry to get stuff done.
