It is crazy that tornados are hit big cities like Joplin and Sedalia.

Well, there were four of us packed into the bathroom under the stairs... I will admit, it was not the best time for me to be singing such a dismal song.

I have a twisted sense of humor, what I like to call "If I don't laugh I'll cry" syndrome.

Now I am going to have to worry about you and your family twice as hard. That is saying something since I have been worrying about you since you left.

Chicken lady is feeeeeeelllllliin' good tonight.

One or two sips and I was so tired.......................eggz-hausticaided.
I woke up at 4 and of course it was getting quite light & birds want OUT!
Roosters crowing...
and I went right back to sleep & woke up again at 6, and then went right out to coop out.
Now I have to finish unloading feed bags, fill each coop's feed bin, and fill the broiler feed bin & mix the ground corn into it.
Meaties arrive Tuesday.
We had a mess of chicks hatch last night...and set another 34 or 35 eggs in another incubator.
It is dead still, mellow-cool and damp here...and the no-see-ums are clouded all over everywhere, millions of them!
DH & I sprayed ourselves, even the hair as the nasty biters walk through your hair & bite ya on the noggin.
I hate these bugs!

They will never go "away" unless we dry out.

Need dry & breezy.
They are poor flyers, so a bit of a breeze and they duck in the mud.
Right now they are so thick everywhere that you cannot walk around with your mouth open.

I don't think that it is ever good to walk around with your mouth open.

I was lucky didn't get hail here but some thunder and lots of rain that was almost solid. Not a good time since I was out fixing fence.

I am sort of jealous. All I got was some rain and a rainbow today.
