LOL I will see if I can get DH to take a pic tonight or tomorrow....he actually started ripping up the lawn yesterday to put in a new "T" off of the existing water hydrant so we can run another water line out to my future GOOSE pasture!

But then the hydraulic line broke on the backhoe. So he had to stop work. Then he went to Home Depot to get some more pipe fittings. By the time he came back, it was POURING rain and just too dangerous to be in a 6 foot deep ditch with lots of sandy, heavy soil.

It doesn't look that deep...but it is 6'!

I was wondering more about general traits that his off spring tend to have.

They all tended to have his great performance and halter records, all quite nice to handle and be around, from what I am reading. But honestly, his actual "get" are no longer around. very old stud and yes he was one of the great foundation bred horses of his time. What his great grand children are doing now, and how they were bred after him... Well I would need to know the linage of the indevidual horse. As any horse with him as a grandsire or great grandsire, may or may not be an exceptional horse, depending on the lines that were crossed with the poco bueno line.

Not sure this will make cense to a non horse person, but I'm trying. lol
