Sweet!

No kidding - she is gorgeous. See what you started Heather? Now ALL the kids want one!

I know....and it's all because I bid on her...now I need another coop for yet another project.

Chances are, I'll have to end up getting rid of another breed though....but we'll see...

How about some pics of my new hen? LOL DH isn't home and won't be until much later tonight--so I'm thinking I'll try for tomorrow.

Her conformation, could be better...and her lacing is not perfect...but overall, I'm very happy with her.

I love how Bantam breeds have such big soulful eyes...........

Oh another idea--turn the roof rafters on edge. That adds more support for the snow load...which I know isn't what we get up here....but it never hurts to overbuild something...only if you under-build it.

X2, and as such will require easier blocking in between the rafters, sections of 2x4.

My new coop has about 3 feet under it in front & runs up to the back, sunk in concrete on posts, and I have turned flocks loose in the pasture when we built it, and they all hung out underneath.
DH was worried they would be inside pooping on his tools.......

Broad muscly chests and big muscly butts!!!

BUT...... everybody is still not telling that they like to buck!!!! This has actually been a bit of a knowledge test !!!

OK, I have to say, my mare never bucked with me but she did a little but not hard, just playful with DH. He's not the congruant horse whisperer type so I'm sure the mare was a bit uncomfortable with him. like I said, she was very smart. She would have been perfect for EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy). She read people like a book. LOL, her name was Mazie but she was a blast and was dubbed krazymazie. That became my ebay name.

I never had any QH be "buckers"
I DID have several INSANE Arabians that DID plus more, crazy and insane and small and as far as I am concerned useless as the tits on a ..well you know the story.
Worked on a ranch in Glide OR and the guy who owned it only would have ARABS!!!!!!!!!! Not good for herding sheep nor cattle, not worth a dang for saddle riding either.
I love the beautifu dabbled grey though...and she was the spookiest craziest of all, loved to rear up (in the barn being saddled) and fall over backward,
Lovely..I am lucky to be alive I survived that crazy horse.
I thought I was lucky after doing 100 MPH on my HD all down 405 & Monroe to Duvall........
