Well, I have a guy finally coming to get started birds, so have to go figure prices...
he has been calling me sometimes daily or every other day to tell me how his coop construction was going........

Then he called one day and said his grandmother had just died & they were close (he was crying)and not to worry about him as he had friends with him.
The next day he called, still crying & wanted me to bring the chickens as he could not drive, too depressed, but I was at Ogress' house in North bend.
Then I called him the next day and his phone was turned off.
Obviously mad.
Then did not hear from him for 2 days, but then he called and proceeded to tell me about his new tracter, the 5 tine rototiller, and all sorts of other crap for 5 minutes and that he was ready for some birds now.
I then told him I had sold all the started birds I had & more would be ready in a few weeks.
He went quiet.
So we'll see if he shows up.
he has an extremely deep voice, and has mentioned he has a bad back from so much heavy lifting and growing up with a nick name "the crane"
He also said he was a pure Swede, alot of those out here.
So he is a TALL weird lonely old guy.
A softy by the sounds of it.
I will be building a flock of assorted birds for him, he wants all colors & breeds.
I cannot hardly waite for him to show

I thought about setting the dog crates of birds OUTSIDE the gate and locking it...leave a note to put the money in the mail box as we were suddenly called away on an emergency......

Well I have enjoyed the GFM that somebody was so kind to gift me but looks like it is ending in 2 days. I would renew it but there is just no way I can justify that.

I never did find out whoever gave me the GFM so never was able to thank them. I enjoyed it and wish I could have returned the favor to someone.

The guy I bought a lot of roses from when he lived in Bothell lives in Maui now and does this with tropical plants, from what I hear; he sold one of the last large parcels between Kenmore and Woodinvile and moved to the islands and I suspect only sells plants because he can't stop, but he doesn't have to wory about offending anyone anymore.

Are you going to Okanogan Days today? I am thinking about going...the Animal Barter Fair is in Brewster this morning at 9am, too...I thought I'd have a lot more chicks and ducklings to sell than I do.

I gotta work so no I am not going to Okanogan Days. Wished I knew about Brewster though....I have chicks to sell. One of my older chicks is trying to crow - I knew it was a cockerel anyway....rather aggressive. How often do they have the faire in Brewster?

A few times a year. They have a spring one, summer and fall. This is the summer one.

Ian has been crowing since dawn; there was a point just after 5am when he didn't stop for more than the time it takes to inhale.

I would feel much more guilty about that if the daycare next door had not had some kind of riot yesterday right after the grade school kids showed up, with all sorts of screaming and a finale of ten minutes of kids and adults bellowing "shut up, shut up shut up" at each other.

Does this make me a bad person?

(He kept me awake, too, and he's a lot closer to me).
