OK so here is a little update on the interview. I didn't think it was a crash but couldn't tell much else. I did very carefully do a little name drop after the interview was over and I was on my way out. And turns out the guy I mentioned is the go to for the plant manager.

Jim Legendre? He's in Junction, which is between Salem and Eugene, and breeds bantams. LF Hamburgs are dinky: the banties are really tiny. He does raise beautiful, beautiful birds, though.

Anyone here have a couple of adult ducks they'd like to rehome? I've lost 4 chickens in the past two weeks...3 to predators and 1 to old age, so I've got room to add a couple of duckies to the chicken coop/run area. Laying or not, I don't care. Just want to get started with ducks to see if I'm ready to take that splash full tilt.

BTW, you guys have an awesome thread going here! Our Oregon thread is dead compared to y'all.

It bugs me when obviously very wealthy musicians sing about stuff like that. I know it's just fiction but give me a break. What possessed him to write or purchase that song? Is he trying to 'reach out' to the poor people who actually hate their life? Definately not a pick me up.
