We should start a Coupon thing on this site and see what every one is doing. Does that sound good, maybe do a coupon swap or something. I have so many for baby things. I can get lots of the mail coupon one's have a 6 inch stack from last weeks, dont know about this week.

I "extreme coupon" as much as I am able to in such a small town. I can't double coupon or anything like that. But I can get some super good deals at Safeway. There are some really good web sites.

If anyone is interested we could do a coupon train going. Get a mailing list, put coupons you will not use in and take coupons you can use out, mail it to the next person on the list. I have done this before and it is great. Unfortunately I can not get a Red Plum flyer. Mine are never as good as others. But would love to be part of it.

yea, that would be awesome! Now, I have found out, here in Sunnyside, the dollar tree sells the seattle times advanced addition on sat am!! So I have been going down early in the morning and getting 4 - 5 papers with the coupons, I have a big binder and the first time my boyfriend went with me and he saw how much I saved he freaked out!! Now he's all about the coupons!! lol! So I take it you watch extreme couponing on tlc?? there are some blogs that help, two of them were on the show, one from seattle one from spokane.
there is Krazy coupon lady, extreme coupon 101, and frugal chic living, oh and living rich with coupons! that's just to name a few! It's addictive really!! lol

Unfortunately, the Dollar Tree here only gets like 10 papers and they are gone within minutes. I have to pay full price for mine. Ask relatives to save the flyers for you to.

Well, I am down to only 10 pages behind. I will try to do more tonight. Now time to get ready for work. Feed/water all birdies. Get kid up for swim team - drop off at swim team. Pick up and bring home and back to work. Oh, also have to drop 18 yo off at his new job (Wal*Mart).

My new job starts the 12th. Statistics: $5 more an hour than I am making now. Full bennies. But: Stuck in the bowels of the basement with no windows. Have to start listening to doctors munchinig potato chips in my ears again (oh - fun). Hours are 7 am to 3:30 (perfect for my life). This was a good choice, but I am so going to miss my job at the vet office.

Oh, (just in case anyone cares - don't expect you too though): But July 9-11 I am off to Toppenish and an Olympic size pool for middle DS to compete with the swim team there. Please have warm to mild weather. The triple digits are hard on us old moms who have to sit OUTSIDE the fence and watch kids and cannot get our feet wet inthe pool. Hmmmmm, Doesn't VF live in this area....wonder what would happen if I accidentally stopped buy and accidentally bought a coop from him? Hmmmmmm....Do you think I could sneak it in like RFF does? Would DH notice? Probably, shucks.

So does the dollar tree sell the papers for less? You got it I saw the show and thought maybe I can do that. Than my Dauhter in Law said a Aunt of her's does it and saves big time.. Im going to have to check out some of the sites you put up. I have Krazy coupon lady but not the others. Thanks

Pre-kids when I had more of a social life, a bunch of friends and co-workers and I would get together a couple of times a month to play poker, but instead of using chips or money, we exchanged coupons. It was a lot of fun, but I always seemed to end up with the Depends.

We used to have pygmies too, but they could climb out of every fence, even with a hot wire, and the doe got into our rhodies (poisonous) and cost a small fortune at the vet to save. The little boy had one horn that came back, and he would ram my leg with that sucker every day, trying to dump the bucket of llama grain I was carrying so he could eat it. They got rehomed when the girls left for college.....kind of the opposite of the rest of you. My nest was not yet empty though (still isn't and I can't wait!)

Yup, sorry, but it's worse than anything except Ivy , and that only by reason of its fruit and the fact it doesn't smell bad.

Grub out every sprout you see, as soon as you see it, and get all the root: it's much easier than doing it later. Keep it up, and eventually you'll run out of seed-load and root fragments. I have been told.

The last time mine were under control was right before I got pregnant the first time. My husband is a great believer in the great round toit, and the seedload/burls dated back to before anybody knew what horrors the "new, easy, fruitful family garden plant!" would hold. Right before I damaged my back badly enough to be flat for two weeks, I was on a pace to get them under control in... three months? Maybe?

Oh yeah, ivy, that is what was tangled all around the blackberry shoots (and up the tree, and up my fence, and in my siding!!!!aaahhhhh!)

I love both of your breeds- I used to help show Nubians for years and years, and the place I stayed on Saltspring Island one summer was next door to a Toggenberg dairy herd- three brothers, nephews of my boyfriend's grandfather, owned it and milked about... 90 does, something like that. More goats than I'd ever seen in one place, and they had to be kept inside a 12 ft. unclimbable fence, which was, itself, inside a triple-strand hotwire, because there are cougars on the island.

But you have to admit, a goat's idea of a joke can complicate your day.

I love them all so its hard to see some go, but want good homes for them...
