after reading this, I do not know what brought me to this page. I have to say-- it really hit home with me and my situation. And I agree with, he allows it. Thank you both for your posts.

Anyway when I left practice in 04 I made a whopping 11 dollars an hr!!

I left in 2006? at $16/hr. Still not a livable wage in the city...
Unfortunate. Much easier to keep active than in human med- I sit on my booty way more now than I ever did.

Sometimes I think we are brought messages we need to hear from places we didn't know we'd hear them!! Hope your situation improves?? Or turns out the way you wish it to, and glad you joined us!! Sorry, I kinda went on a rant, the situation is still on going and very stressful, I know we should talk chicken, so I'll just say How's everyones chickens today!! LOL!!

I let my young ones out with the older girls yesterday and it was like wow we are out! WOW this place is scary! Run around, run around, then 5 min later run back into the secure run where it's safe. I had forgotten that my older ones did that when I first let them free range. They just kept venturing farther and farther away from the coop. Very funny to watch. I am still very wary, because they are not very predator savy. But it was very cute and entertaining.

yep I hear that! I was laid off from the best job in Wyoming! I worked for Baker Hughes an oil pump producing company, Great bennies great pay and I'm sure if I still lived back there they would have called me back in a heart beat! I was a shipping and receiving clerk, I worked tons of hours tho, when the oil prices are up, it's 14- 16 hour days! I did work for the community health clinic for a while there too, they only paid what I made in WA so when I got a chance to change jobs I grabbed it, besides I became a vet tech cause I really don't like people, the complain too much about stuff they could have fixed and blame everyone else for their problems, oh yea and they never have any money to pay their co pay but they have money for cigg, new cell phones and booze....WHATEVER!!

as least as a vet tech when an animal was aggressive all I had to do was muzzle it or tranq it!! LOL

to bad we can't do that for humans!!

opps here comes the cynical part of me again!! dang it!!!

Oh! I have chick pic's! I forgot! I'll have to go and upload them here. We ended up with 15 bantam cochin chicks hatching!!! (Anyone want any?

PM me if you do!) Out of 18 shipped eggs from PA! My best shipped eggs hatch ever.

So the night they all hatched the family all had some cuddle time. (........and they call ME the crazy chicken lady!)
