I have a small incubator I could let you borrow in a few days. This is the last hatch I expect to do this year. It only does seven eggs, but it's dead easy.

Thanks!

Now we just have to figure out the transfer mechanism, so to speak. I'm going to start cycling the older eggs into the eating collection and putting the newer ones in the hatching eggs box today.

These are due to hatch Saturday. I could come down and see Bacchus next week. You said Monday is a bad day, right?

Monday is terrible: always has been, is now worse, since it's the only weekday I have transportation (Anna's day off). And Monday next is about as bad as it gets, since I have to have a fasting blood draw to start the day. The hired hand is working at her first job all next week, but Sam needs to take me to Del's in the truck one day for a wire run. That will probably be Wednesday. So Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday work best for me, although if I were driving I'd look long and hard before heading down I-5 the last Friday in July, ick.

My dad wanted to name me Agusta Wind, our last name, Wold, didn't match anything so that wouldn't have mattered. He just liked it but mom didn't like it so just named me Shannon Marie. Its cute to think of now but I know as a kid I would have been teased.

Shannon

I was miffed at my parents for naming me Shannon cause at the time Shannon was a boys name!
I was actually named after the Shannon river in Ireland. MI is Lea after an Irish grandmother.
I don't mind my name now that I'm older.

DID I MISS SOMETHING??? Did CR fry himself????

As long as you don't tell him anything your chickens will be safe! Good to have ya to chat with!

Ah...Nothing wrong with "the Irish"!!!! I named my daughter Kacey Leigh cause I wanted an Irish name, and the spelling on her middle name was something I hadn't seen in a long time, 24 yrs ago, the spelling of her first name was unusual, but, I have seen it several times now over the years. My son is lucky I almost named him Sean or Shawn, we had two Irish setters name Casey and Shawn!!! LOL!! My mom had a fit when I named my daughter, she would have had a coronary if I had named my son that too!!! LOL
