Hubby just went to Home Depot to take back the poultry wire he had previously bought, and was going to get the 1/2 inch hardware cloth, so guess he still plans to work on the coop a little

I think it would be good therapy for my daughter to go out and feed chickens with me, just sayin....

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers everyone. Jenna was a miracle to start with (25 week preemie), and God just brought her through again! The power of prayer is amazing!

So, once again I've failed to get reasonable photos of Bjorn and Benny so I can put up a sale sign at Del's and get them on cl. Today I bribed them with bedstraw, grass, and Lotus major, and they still bounced around like ping-pong balls in a windtunnel. I'll have to go down with my Nikon later, and try to see if I can manage something via autofocus.

(Benny, Bjorn, Agnetha, and Anni-Frid, by the way; Agnetha is the most agressive and smallest by quite a lot!)

I've got spitz in the incubator due to hatch tomorrow. Haven't heard a sound from them yet. I've sung to them, and clucked to them, and everything except dance for them. Maybe they prefer something besides Verdi and "Shortening Bread".

That was VelvettFog that said "what a differents a Day makes" NOT me. I was surprised that he was selling his coops. He was talking about getting MORE chickens. he had ordered wire and everything. His DW must have changed her mind

He has not been on here since. I have been to his place and he has lots of Open field. It would cost a few bucks to fence off that to keep the coyotes out.

Yes the power of prayer is amazing !!!! I'm a very FIRM believer in prayer . I know there's some on here that don't believe that. But thats OK I respect EVERYONES opinion, thats what makes the world go around
