They should have been in around the end of July. You may be able to get some decent size and eat as you pull them if you planted some asap but they won't be sized up for storage. Things I plant every week are arugula, cilantro, spinach, lettuce, radishes, asian greens. Most of these I sell so I plant enough each week that will sell each week. Some things that you cut as baby for a baby greens salad mix you can get 2 cuttings out of if it's not too hot. Some will bolt the very next week after it is ready, like spinach, arugula and cilantro. You still have time to plant all the above mentioned and possibly purple top turnips and kohlrabi. The majority of fall crops need to be planted in July.
