It never did more than barely sprinkle for 5 minutes a few times overnight, so I stayed in the tent with DD till 5:30. Then I got up to take care of the animals. Now I'm feeling tired, sore, and grumpy and sucking on spoons of manuka honey to stop this killer sore throat I feel coming on.

That hay - what a jerk to sell it to you like that! Can you take photos and e-mail them to him? If his farm has a website or facebook page, maybe post the photos to it if he does not offer a full refund.

OMG!! I haven't been on here in so long, I saw a post that Rff had platelet issues and had to go all the way back to find out she had her baby!! YEA!!!

OK so I know there must be a story behind this so go ahead and crack the eggs.

At the Olympia Farmer's Market there was a demonstration of a lot of the adult groups that do dance in the area. It went from 10:30-2:30 (the market runs from 10-3) at 11:15 and 1:30, I danced swing, lindy, blues and charleston.

Pullman is an exiting town? Since when? Then again, compared to Clarkston, anything is lively.

Either way, Moscow is much more lively than Pullman and Lewiston is much more lively than Clarkston.

Well my 19 year old DD is pretty happy with Pullman and the size of the town, even though she's pretty well insulated. She's just about ready to move into her first apartment, has a nice intimate group of friends, a few favorite restaurants, and some clubs nearby, some in Moscow. She does prefer WSU over a huge campus like UW. Personally, I'd like her a little closer to home but we can't have everything. She's far enough away that she feels very independent, although financially she is not. However, I did tell her since she has her first on campus job this year, that she'll be buying her own groceries now. It's time she learned to cook and shop like a student and oddly enough she's looking forward to that!

OK so don't take this wrong but that style of dance just doesn't work with YOUR avatar.. sorry it just kicked me in the knoggen.

Sorry, I was being a bit of a smart ass. I graduated from WSU and then worked at UI for a while. I really like it over there. If I could find a job, I would happily move back over there (I have a standing invitation on a place to live).

Were you expecting me to do the Robot or something? Anyway, I took up dancing to try and get my coordination and balance back after having my brain fried. You probably do not want to hear the icky details. Either way, if anyone on here wants to go to the swing dance that is every Tuesday at 7:30pm at the Eagles in Olympia, I could probably get you in free (at least the first time).

Of swing dancers that I know what they do for a living, about half of them are engineers, mostly electrical and mechanical.

The only swing dancer I know is Johnny Reno -- and he's more of a crooner than a dancer.

I really admire people who can dance well. All of my attempts at ballroom dancing have not been very impressive. Although there was a play I did a couple of years ago where I was required to tango and with the help of an excellent instructor my partner and I were able to fake our way through the play's run.

But the lindy and charleston? You must have incredible energy and stamina!
