Rest in peace, Abby, our old yellow cat....the seizures got worse today and she stopped eating and drinking. She was telling us she was done. So we took her in tonight. The house seems so empty and so does my heart....

I guess our Jake-the-dog decided too, that it was time for him ... though apparently he just ran and ran, so far that no one has found him yet

the place does feel empty here, only Krispy-cat is left, besides the chickens ... Cheddar never came home either

because we CANNOT be without a dog for several reasons, we will have a new guard dog/pet tomorrow, if all goes well

one of DS's good friends could no longer keep her dog, and the person caretaking the dog for her, could no longer do so either

so we offered our empty dog "niche" ... DS and his friend are picking the dog up tomorrow and bringing her out here

but there is no replacing Cheddar-cat ....

maybe next spring we'll acquire another kitten ...

I do believe I'm on the other side of the lake from you? We're blocks away from St Edwards Park in the Kenmore area. I drive to & from Seattle each day so I could drop off in the afternoon sometime next week if you'd like. Just let me know!

Ah...what a wet day today...think the girls are going to need some extra distractions to keep them all happy. And will have the camera out to capture the dirty faces I'm sure are to come
