Working on a sheep & cattle ranch in Glide, OR...the jerk had it all in barbed wire.and sheep would get stuck on the wire daily, and stand there and just starve if we did not ride the fence & free them, their fleece thus ruined..........this was a city guy, who got in a traffic accident, sued the city after he was left paralyzed from the neck down, (the city had not proper signage)
So he went on a spree buying land & animals he knew nothing of.........

People who think farming is a low-work job are nuts.

I looked at sheep coats, there's a place in Colorado where I could get one for about $20 but they make the Horned Sheep model to order and I'd have to wait for three weeks. I think I'm going to ask my friend Rose if she could sew me one- ripstop, not canvas, though, I think I've got an old ripstop rain poncho that would work and it's cooler for the sheep and easier to work with.

OMG, Farmers have the world on their backs, 24/7

Then tent some tin foil over the top on a gas grill...........or best, use a smoker grill.

Plank soaked since 8 AM, and was almost firing after 30 minutes on the grill...lotsa good smoke~~

I just paid my whopper bill today. I did not want a repeat of April.

In April, Don sold his stock to cover the bill and tried to transfer it to a bank account that we closed years earlier. When I discovered the problem, we moved the $ to the correct account and checked the county website which showed us as having paid, so I assumed they re-submitted their check. NOPE! Got a NASTYGRAM a few days later and paid the bill immediately plus $800 in fines and intrest! It was not even a month past due.

... the drum circle does not quit. ever. There are a lot of people on*something*, which really makes for interesting people watching though, I have to say!
It's fun to visit for the day, during the day..but that's about it. I only go once every few years now.. Only if I need new garlic for planting, honey or more pottery or something along those lines. One of my good friends lives near there, so we go together. It's a lot different now! When I was a kid, we would ride our horses in.. camp in our tipi's.. and actually trade stuff. But there were a lot of drugs then too.. weird stuff happenin'.. :p
