Note: I myself have saved at LEAST 75 plastic reinforced feed bags, in hopes of one snowy day (oh I said the 'S' word!

) sewing alot of square bottomed totes.
I keep saving them.....

I do think it would be nice to sew the sheep, little rain coats out of the reinforced clear tarp material, though...have you considered that?

The rain just makes him wet: I'm getting scars from having to disentangle him from the blackberries he's supposed to be eating up.

You need GOATS not sheep.
Sheep get stuck & will stay there until they die.
Goats are what ya need.

Well, goats don't eat grass: what I need is a sheep and a goat, but the budget wasn't there this year.

A sheep, a goat, and at this moment in my life, a dedicated personal servant who works for nothing and is good with the back rubs would be nice.

So..weather heads saying it will get 30 to 40 degrees in some parts out in Western Washington..........it is coming on so fast!
Within a week or two, we'll have that 'S' stuff

So, rain is predicted, snow (oops~~) levels dropping to 5000, and temps to 30-40...it is coming folks.

Time to get birdie water fonts and outdoor potted plants protected..it is coming fast.

I would be interested in getting that breeder's info. I am looking to get another Aussie as well as a couple more 13" Tri-colored Beagles. If anyone knows of some good sources, please email me.

God Bless,

I am gonna go deal with the dishes, and see y'all tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!
But first, a funny pic of beautiful Buckeye pullet, before & after a nice day at the dust bath spa~~~~~~~~

What happened????????

Then she shook..and a cloud of dust flew over the yard, scared the cockeral..and looked as if the pullet was smoldering.

Goodnight all!

God Bless,

I know of the Beagles, and will look it up and send you a PM tomorrow as soon as I can.

I just went out to shut some birds in and it is cold!!! We have a nice fire going in the fireplace for our family TV night when Survivor comes on. :-)

Anyone have any poultry waterer heaters they want to get rid of?!?

I'm not liking the idea of having to defrost 12 different coop's waterer's this winter. Any brilliant ideas? I don't have any spare waterer's around except for chick size one's. Keeping defrosted one's in the basement and swapping them out when needed sounds like the easiest idea, but like I said, I don't have 12 extra one's sitting around. Most of the coops have power for lights, but not all of them, so I could use a few of those heaters. I've also read about making your own heaters with a large cookie tin and lamp bulb inside but the idea makes me nervous for some reason.........
