I look every day. There are a few polish birds but the lady is to far away and the silkies are to young for her liking

Hi FYI the OR thread is pretty slow and most of em hang on the OR swap thread. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=490979&p=290 I know there will be several OR and WA peeps at Stevenson. You should be able to find some birds at the show.
Please feel free to stop by my booth (Iron Imagery) the metal art and say hey.

One of Beckie's eggs hatched at about 12:30 but this is the first I've been in the house to report it. Looks much like Tertia, I think, but haven't really had time to say. Letting the radient heater do its magic in the bathroom, sort of- have had to find a place to put the sheep, wash the horrible horrible dusty clothing long-abandoned on the shower rod by the Entitled Ones, and also tend to the adult chooks.

Eating lunch, now, of course, although I still haven't officially finished breakfast.

I couldn't get the link to the Stevenson show shedule (back a few pages) to work. I want to take my daughter on Sunday (I don't think we can make it on Saturday) to see the Seramas in particular. I'm hoping we can find someone to demonstrate for us how you teach them to pose. Any volunteers?

I looked on the PNPA website, but I couldn't find the actual show schedule--just the entry form and catalog...

Can someone show me where to find it?

Thanks!

Two more eggs hatched- possibly two of Anitra's. One chick has been pipped since 9am and is alive, trying, and the egg apparently pipped all the way around, but it's still inside: any words of wisdom?

(While all this was going on, Bacchus pulled his tether peg over and came dancing up to the front porch. Also, the kittens are in the plastic pet carrier, and THEY HATE ME OMG).

ETA: well, that solved itself. Five chicks, but I absolutely can't get the brooder in the tub without somebody who can lean over picking up some of their... debris.

Seriously. Slobs doesn't even begin to cover it.

there will be lots of us showing seramas. Several of us are going from Tacome area. There will be seramas for sale from several breeders also.
