Use the dilution recommended by both WSU and the SPPA: 2 cups of bleach in a 1 gallon milk container, then fill with water, and label as SOLUTION>

I get tired of giving the recipe..
Then fill with water, then fill a spray bottle, and go spray your toilet, sink, countertops, 1 Tablespoon in 2 cups of 120 degree water to wash eggs per the ag dept, for 30 seconds, and you can clean your shower (no more foot rot or any other nasties) and what ever else you want!
Bleach is the only thing that kills everything....do not spray it in anything's eyes.
You can spray this solution on dirty socks before they go in the washer!!!

Use 1 T per gallon of water for your well birds.
use 2 Tablespoons per gallon for sick birds to kill e-coli.
Kills fungal infections, strept and every other nasty bacterial or fungal infection, and all viruses.
Including Athelete's foot in the shower, and ringworm.

one large BUT: do not spray bleach, or this bleach solution, on anything colorful unless you want the color to change, fade, spot, or turn awful colors

spouses have been known to do this -- intentionally or not ...

I told late DH to "pretreat" his oily neck-ringed shirts --- intending for him to use detergent --- but he used BLEACH straight from the bottle, and the nice sage green shirts were instant-spring-camouflage .... several of the nicer dress shirts developed big holes ... and all the elastic in the underpants went POOF

You know I love yah!

Ok off to have a late chili night at my Mothers place!

http://www.westvet.com/collibacilliosis.htm

There
ya go, and do keep the solution jug marked, and under the kitchen counter, and have all your bird fonts out of the sun!
This is especially GOOD for those who have wells..but it needs to be used by everyone.
Chlorine is a gas, and will vaporize in hours.
When birds kick poop & dirt into their fonts, you will notice biofilm, a slime.
This can be e-coli/strep and many other bacteria.
E.coli & staph are the biggest culprits.
Staph bacteria love flat hard objects to 'nest' on, like your teeth, or a pacemaker or other body implant.
The staph do not really like muscle or other body/meat.
But a bird's beak, and a water font warmed in the sun..yeah, maybe.
Once poured water from a city system, a bird font will vaporize all Chlorine out, within 12 hrs.
This is why you can refill your aquarium if you let city tap water sit for 12 hrs...

OK, I am going to serve dinner, DH is home from a hard days work...

Think it would be to traumatizing to Toni's daughter to recieve a full coat of feathers skin attached? lol Sounds horible to send them that way. But I don't plan on plucking this mean cockeral, I was just gonna skin him. And I could send the feathers to her daughter.

I would bet that from meeting Toni's DDs that it probably wouldn't freak them out to get feathers and skin. But then I could be wrong.

I may have said this before, so ignore if I have. But we always have skinned our meat birds. It makes things so quick and easy. I also de-bone the meat. I watched the Jack Pippen video on YouTube.
