Looks like the road ahead is a bit rough so I'm strapping on my hiking boots and getting ready to climb. I'm sure the view from the top is awesome! I'm setting my sights on the top! Look up! Luke 21:28

The girls made it through the night. I think Hook was watching them from around 6 to 8. Two were eating and three were still above. I had to gently show those three were the ramp was. One freaked a little, fell and landed on the feeder. I went in through the lower door and she hopped on my hand and proceeded to walk to my shoulder. Both dogs were geeking out so my husband grabbed her and put her in. The last two, Mabel and the runt Greta, I guided to the top of the ramp and they walked down just fine. All were eating when I drug Hook back into the house. I'm not sure they figured out the water system yet since it looks a little different. I got one to peck at it yesterday. I'll check later to make sure they are getting water. But I'm please with how night one went.

Well, we await the folks from Oregon who are coming to get the Pea Fowl.
The 3 Pea Fowl are still in the shed & well behaved, although DH reported they are still making racket inside the shed.
He will be very happy when they are gone!
The 3 birds are very friendly, I was surprised.
The eat right out of your hand !
They have to have been hand raised by a very caring person...
I was thinking some bad husband probably took the wife's birds while she was at work, dumped them someplace, and left the pen open.
Then when she discovered her babies gone, the husband probably exclaimed: "Oh honey! Looks like someone stole your birds!"

I am expecting a note on the grocery store's bulletin board: "REWARD for any information on someone who stole 3 adult peacocks from their pen on my land on Monday...etc etc etc..."
And oh yeah I will call!
Either that and/or, I can post bulletins all over town saying:

"THANKS to the man in the white Ford Ranger pick up who stopped in front of our property Monday afternoon and dumped 3 adult Pea Fowl, and drove away.
We have your ID & have called the sheriff on you.
We have also captured the pea fowl & sold them for $200 each, thanks again!!"

THAT would be cool!!!!!!!!
