I thought an egg carton might be a bit better of a scale than my little hands.

Dinner was yummy last night, fried egg on toast. The big one on the end was a double yolker!

I am happy, now I just have to figure out what to do with all the eggs when the rest of them start laying.

If you have a bunch of birds that lay light brown eggs, how do you tell who laid what?

I could lend Ron one of my bators too. That way he could have a lot of white egg layers.

OOOOh nooo I don't think my bator works for white eggers.

That's ok, if he buys my auction, there will be NO white eggs!

aim a game cam at the nest box(es) ?

I sat there and watched one pullet go through all five nest boxes looking for a good place to set, so I left her alone to lay. I came back a couple of hours later and there was no egg. There would be a lot of pictures on the game cam, not sure how many would be the layers.

Ooh, I love that coop, I've seen it before. They've dropped their price A LOT. They were originally asking $2500 if memory serves....
