Please pass this info onto to T-HI:

Depending on the original type of loan....there is/was a program called Cash for Keys. Like I said...depending on the bank and type of loan (ie, Fannie Mae, etc) the bank will pay for her to rehome and help with moving expenses. She needs to talk to the bank and the government agency who backed it. I don't know if this is still going on...but it is worth checking into. Also, around her...some banks have started the forclosure process and keep threatening to "auction" and 2 years later it still has not happened. Some of these people have stayed in the house this entire time, rent free. Still have an exit strategy...but check into EVERYTHING.....there may be help out there for her.

Oh, also talk with whoever the real estate agent is. Is this a tax foreclosure or bank foreclosure? that can make a difference too.

If the friends were renting it to her for like $5 a month, and she had a lease, I know they would pay her like $4000 to move.

Who would pay her?
Send the info to her!

I would have to agree with CR...no one here names their birds...for that matter I bet that :
Adam
Milly
Martha
Alice
Hanna
Sally
Emily
Raven
Amelia
The Barred Rock Bitties (which there are 5)
Herman (R.I.P)
and
Lilly (R.I.P)

would have to agree that naming your birds is just plum crazy.
BTW...I think that they know their names and will come when called. Or ignore when called...which ever they feel like doing.

Our chickens get names once we know we are keeping them. They all come when their names are called

I encourage this by saying their name when I hand feed them.

I try to only name the ones I'm not planning on eating.....
Welcome to this chatty bunch, Niki!
I don't use heat lamps and I use a 40 regular bulb to make 14 hours of light - and that's without regard to who's laying or not.
Perhaps you could name your last two Lunch and Dinner...

Kirkland maybe?

Bonney Lake is in northern Pierce County. We drove up to IKEA today; that stretch of 167 is horrible enough (average speed from the Super Mall to Sumner was less than 20mph) and Kirkland is all of 405 on top of that...
