I'd love to know the names of our two girls! I don't have any pictures yet - but I was home on Wednesday afternoon so I took them out of their little quarentine coop and let them in...the GARDEN! The other girls were all looking through the fence soooo jealous!

But the two Maran girls were just huddled under the raspberries for a couple hours...and finally got brave enough to come out from under the raspberries and start digging a bit towards the end of their time. They'll get more garden time this weekend since I'll be home.

And they finally get the hot breakfast program

At least one of them does! This morning when the first girl came down for oatmeal, she gave the "broody mama call" for her buddy to come and eat! So cute! I cannot wait for this weekend to spend a bit more time with them. (And I cannot wait for one of them to give me an EGG!)

Wait, so, who got two Marans hens and who got the one pullet?


The one pullet doesn't have a name, the two hens are Godiva and Floppy-Comb.


On Hua'Hue - Don't worry on the skittish thing, she's normally VERY friendly, she's just super skittish since she started molting. Catching her was kinda sad because I had to grab her by the tail, and she started screaming bloody death. She's normally, outside molt, a sweetheart.

Both Araucanas, hen and pullet alike, are nameless. The tailed pullet though, I'd love to see photos of in a couple weeks because man is she gonna be a stunner!! That breast was already getting an almost rusted bloody red color, and I bet she'll be gorgeous fully matured.

I have one of the Wheaten Ams, the BC pullet, the blue-gold duckwing and the tailed silver duckwing.
The little ones are so sweet. You're right about the silver duckwing. Nice looking bird.
They are all doing well.

The biopsy wasn't bad at all. The worst part is lying there with yer "you know whats" hanging out!
We showed the house twice today! The guy from Sat. came back again and really likes the place, so he says. He's going to his bank about financing.
Another young couple, newly married, came and want to bring their parents back next week to show them. So we shall see what happens in the next week or so. Exciting!
I'm glad you get to come to the show! I need to give ya a hug for all your help! I am going to send you a pm with more info.

CL- Yes, I had a ultrasound guided core biopsy, complete with titanium clip implant! It was cool. Amazing what they can do now a days!

Your Mom sounds alot like my Grandmother... I love her to death, but we don't get along past an hour or so...

I say avoid them! Life is too short to waste it on people who don't make you happy.


There is a reason why I don't live nearby my mom. I love her, but can only be there in small doses.

My DH takes along several really long novels and wears headsets. It is his own family he does not like to visit. I love his family!

I love my Mom, we moved next door to her so we can help her all we can. She's 87 now
We were a bit removed when my Dad was here, he had a overpowering personality and DH tried very hard but.
He loves my mom too, she has been his mother-in-law for 45 yrs now.

It's really not that big right now the foot print is 4'x16' but it will probably end up 2 4'x8' The 4'x8' will disassemble easyto 4'x8'x about 1'

I'm just short of flat in general; if you look at the photo of the Wyandotte coop you'll see that there's two cinderblocks on the downhill side and one cinderblock and a piece of 4" recycled concrete on the up-hill, and that's in four feet; this is a steep piece of ground, in general.

On the other hand, I'm below terrain for the S and SW winds, which is always good.

Yeah, that and who knows who under the table doing feely stuff...

But, considering the alternative...
My "mass" was totally removed by the needle, entirely!
And so now they can monitor you by satellite too!!!
