I keep reading all this stuff and thinking HMMM, MAYBE...and then I go look at the map and try to figure out how I'm going to deal with four hours of driving (two there, two back) with my toddler in the car. Bleh. I could leave her home with DH, but she doesn't do well separated from me for a long time either.

We're ordering pizza tonight. No snow here - just the usual rain. I actually started a fire for the first time though. All the talk of wine has got me thinking that's not a bad idea as well.

I was in Redmond today doing my first Christmas shopping. I kept thinking of that poor little boy Sky who is missing. So sad.

I'm worn out, and I think I may get my PJ's on, bring the laptop to bed, and see if I can find a movie to watch.

DH called a few hours ago. He has arrived in Pullman and he and DD have found each other at a meeting place off campus once she got off work. He was going to follow her home to her apartment since he's never been there before. They have chosen NOT to attend tonight's football game. I think that's probably best since DH says it's "blizzarding" there. I am glad he got there safely. Just hope the passes are cleared by Monday morning when he is returning home.

Then I have to hope the passes are clear when DD comes home for Thanksgiving break.

She's planning on driving her car home then returning to WSU by bus so that her car winters here at home where it's not subjected to the elements in Pullman.

This Private Wine Tasting Party is over at 8 PM. I have the house to myself so I might just pour myself a glass of something, get my jammies on and find a good movie to watch on Netflix...

OH! I wish I was there!!!!!!!!!!!
And I have GF Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies!!!!!!

Now that would be the ticket. Grown up girls slumber party - with wine or some other nice beverage...

That is a fantastic idea - I think some clever person should make one! (Not me - my one attempt at gingerbread house was disastrous, with walls tumbling down, little gingerbread people getting cracked in half - oh, the humanity...)
