If we can't get together before the Holidays we should just do it at the show. Bring your Chocolate Port in a chocolate milk carton! I hadn't decided to go yet but as long as there is no emergency like a septic overflowing or a well pump going out I can plan on it. Jbear is going isn't she? I used to be goody two shoes, by the book, law abiding but the older I get the more I'm finding out how fun it is to get away with things. Seemed I missed that in my youth somehow! I think my kids are rubbing off on me.

Oh and just imagine what we will have to talk about on BYC later if we get caught!

Im thinking I might just do a good hearty home style baked chicken. Garlic, thyme, poultry seasoning, salt peper, olive oil, red potatoes, onion, and carrotts with a nice thick gravy... Im gonna make DH make the gravy, because I hate making gravy! lol

I really need to not worry about WHO is coming over, and just fix a meal. lol I rarely completely botch a meal, and hardly ever have anyone complain...

If he wanted resturant style food he would have eaten there. maybe home cooked cooked food and a warm family life are what he needs.

Who will know what is in that espresso stand coffee cup with the lid on it? I don't have to worry about getting caught

Maybe I missunderstood. I think if we are just handing off pre-arranged sale/swap items is different than what the LADIES down south do. I really think we should take some lessons and maybe we could get some of them to help us set up a swap like they do. Thiers are HUGE and sound very fun and succssfull !!! I just "might" know how to get in contact with one of them.

I don't remember all the recipe...but my opinion....don't do anything fancy. You are a family not a 3**** restaurant. Do something yummy. Salad. French bread, nice bottle of wine. Keep it simple.

There is a recipe that I can't remember all but of it..maybe someone else can pipe in and finish it off:
Chicken breast (uncooked)
Slice of ham (optional)on top of chicken breast
slice of swiss cheese on top.
(here is what I don't remember - the sauce) cream of whatever soup and creamcheese (I think)...don't remember what I was told.
Soften butter mix with a stuffing mix.
Stuffing over chicken/chez/sauce
Cook. Yummy.

LOL, we better stop talking about it. They will be alerted and target us, have spies follow us around, ask to check our cups and take a breathalyzer! They will be keeping an eye out for who is having the most fun.

I really like the way you think CCG.

I have never met a rule that didn't or shouldn't at least have an exception to it. And I often do things with people I don't really like because it will give me a new better reason to, either talk about them with other people, or remind myself why I avoid them in the first place.
