You are bringing them as an educational display...so if you have to enter them than do so. Still put up your educational table. and mark the cages in whatever way is allowable.

I agree. I want to see them. I want to be educated. To heck with a fuddy duddy opinionated condescending statement.

CR we have had just over 24" since thursday eve to last eve. And apparently got some more last night. Tis the season !

No, no wood stove yet, located one, will have it for next year, using electric as we have the lowest rates in the USA, I do have a backup kerosene heater. But, I really like wood heat.

I am hoping for the little guy in Richmond, but their stories stink.

We finally stuck with the electric heat. We are thinking of getting a pellet stove for backup. I have done the wood stove and all the work involved. Husband is not interested, but I do love the heat. Buying firewood is not cheap...if you go and get it yourself it is not as bad. But lots of work. Just this last summer we found the mother load...even though we don't cut firewood anymore.

save yourself time and money. Get a good stove. Nothing worse than a stove that is not effecient. I really like the one I have. I fill it at bed time (feed the dragon) and again the next night at bed time. Unless we are having a lot of sub 32. Also what ya burn for wood makes a huge difference.

Oh what a chilly Icey morning! Had to take DH to work this AM... Left at 6:15, van slid a lot, scared me a bit, my DH didnt even notice. DD slept through the entire drive...Watched one car flip onto its side after hitting a big patch of black ice, then on the way back home, in the same spot. I watched a county sheriff turn around and put his patrol car in the ditch, maby doing a whopping 5mph. Another car was half in the ditch half in someones yard... All in a 20yrd stretch of road... I also watched a few people stupidlu try to climb Gunderson Hill... That wasnt happening, the truck in the lead wound up sliding backwards into the car behind him! Slow steady driving and easy on the breaks people! I'm just glad we made it home without any issues besides sliding around a lot... Scary drive.

Tell DH he needs to learn about "SHE" wood and "HE" wood. Also the exercise in cutting wood keeps one in better condition.

Growing up we had a fantastic double-barrel burner. Heated a 3000+ sq/ft home.....sometimes too hot. And that was up in the Methow. It got cold.
