Thank you! See what paying for a makeup artist can do!!! LOL I can guarantee if I did it, it wouldn't have looked as nice!! Just not a girlie girl, and about 4 hours later I was ready to get out of all that stuff! The hair pins were pulling my hair and making my head hurt and I was done wearing the dress!! LOL

Thank you! That dress was actually donated to me by a friend, I just had to have it cleaned and slightly altered and our colors were muted red,white and blue, and I just happened to have the boots for it!! LOL

Wow, sure windy and rainy here! Power is still on so far. Didn't get much harvested yesterday. Just 10 lbs of Brussel Sprouts then had to feed, then it was dark! Hope everyone is safe and dry.

Rustler, Did they ever find out why your friends dad died? They found the elk early on but took them a while to find him. Did he end up being far from his elk?

Also curious since I'm not educated in hunting but how does a lone hunter get a whole elk packed out to the truck? Seems it would be quite a bit of work!

I think Brian was confused, as the buffet and banquet is dinner. I think this is being blown out of proportion. He isn't here to defend himself, and I don't think it's 'us' versus 'him'. If it is, count me out, because I like both of you.

I made the mistake of asking him, and he probably took it as I was asking his opinion...rather than him telling me what it allowed.
He was suggesting.....that's all.
That is the way I am taking it.
The fact of my knee injury is what is swaying wether I bring the Icelandics or not.
It may be too much for me to bathe turkeys, too.
We'll see.
I am not holding any anger against Brian, none whatsoever.

At the Monroe Show, alot of peeps took pics of all of us lined up.....I remember getting on my knees for the pic & had issues getting back up...darned knee!
Maybe someone who has the pics can post them?
