If you're talking about the one who was 14 (I think) and 6' or so, that's not who it was.

Ah hah! Thank you! (Adding it to my growing list of electronic communication anagrams)

Next year -- or next get together or chicken show --- we will have to get name tags

(I do have problems remembering names, or putting names on the wrong people --- sorry Shannon, sorry Dana ... )

someone else volunteered sticky labels so I didn't bring any ... (I know I have a pack of them around here somewhere)

I bet someone could design a nifty little blank business card, maybe using the "peeps and quackers" like our shirts from Monroe

the clip-on plastic hanging ID tags, that take business cards, are pretty cheap .. I have several around and I suspect anyone who goes to business conventions will have some too

or laminate the cards up and put them on bead-chain or black cord ?? of course it would have to be done THERE then, or a list of people set up as to who wants what on their ID card .... hard to write on a card already laminated ...

Cute! What are they? Which one is Peep? Did you get them just to keep Peep company? What are you going to do with them? And what does FTR mean? Do you think 5 is too many questions to ask at one time?

chances are, the chipmunky one is an EE

the one I saw loading up on sweet goodies, was probably between 8 and 10 --- slightly chunky and not getting that preteen growth spurt yet ... he grabbed that good pea-and-seafood salad, then took something like six or eight pieces of baklava, and about as many each of the fudge pieces

Puyallup- free lumber from a swing set... might be great for anyone still needing to build a coop. or build a bigger one!

Oh, what a fool I am. I have a single electric burner just sitting in my garage, unused. Perhaps we should have some sort of group "gadgets for shows" that way we would always have what we need.

My DD has a crock pot you can plug into your car battery. Just have the food warm and it stays that way, sorry can't remember the brand but very handy.

Had to share this free rooster ad on craigslist..... link at bottom if you want the rooster....

Free rooster. Rhode Island Red.
Ok, so we ended up with a spare, your gain. Here are the top reasons you should get this rooster.
1. Helps you get up in the morning. Usually starts crowing just before sunrise.
2. You need a rooster if you want to hatch baby chicks.
3. Your rooster will help protect the hens.
4. One rooster goes a long way, you only need one rooster for 7-10 hens.
5. There is no better way to teach your kids about farm life, especially when they are two years old being chased around the yard.
6. Roosters are easy to tame.
7. Conversation starter with the neighbors.
8. Conversation starter with animal control depending on your neighborhood.
9. Your rooster could be the start of your political career when your city begins discussions on banning roosters. Hey buddy, ban barking dogs first.
10. And don't forget Coq Au Vin. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/coq-au-vin-recipe/index.html

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I gave this guy the little speech on Ameraucana vs. EE, and he just looked at me with a blank stare. I guess I sounded like a chicken snob?
