uh oh... Well now I know what's happening to my well pump!! I did use it for lawn and garden watering this year, cause our irrigation pump was down!! Now it's doing this pressure on, pressure off thing, you can watch the water pressure in the faucets in the sinks and in the shower!! I told my husband, we better get some one out to at least look at it and give us an estimate, before it's too late. Not that we have the money to replace it!!

Check the pressure tank make sure you have proper amount of air in it. That is most likely the source of your problem and is easy to solve unless you have a ruptured bladder or leak in the system. Did I mention that I spent 13 years as a pump tech?

really?? can I call you! ? LOL he was on line this morning trying to find out about the pressure switch, he's sleeping right now, has to work tonight, but I'll ask him about the pressure tank. Not sure that he knows much about that kind of stuff!!??

LOL My DH raised & showed Dobies for years, and he says Dobies were crossed with Chihuahuas to get a Min Pin (

) and that is what they are, a chihuahua in Dobieclothes

So I asked him how on earth was a Dobie crossed with a chihuahua????

We are both hysterical at this point!!!!!
He said he don't know, but that's what they are, little yappers with a serious attitude!!!
One of my friends in Idaho raises Min Pins, and one of her girls took down a 40 pound Tom turkey one day.got it by the neck & a few well placed twists & it was all over.
Makes me respect them a bit more since I had to hacket 2X today to off a Tom turkey that was about 20# !!!!!

lol they actually have common ancestors in the making of each breed. they do have the same attitude sometimes and they are tough, they will bring down a tom turkey. BUT mine are not allowed near the birds. Only have one that can go with me to mess with chickens. I never kept or bred shy or nasty attitudes. I prefer to have nice but tough little dogs. mine do kill rats and other vermin, and some hunt birds which I discourage, and many of mine dig truffles. to bad the truffles here are not worth much!! I know some folks in Idaho with pins, who is your friend?

so i have a question for the Quacker Savy

my 7 cayugas hatched July 9th. 7, 2 of which are female.
a few weeks ago when i visited home i saw the male ducks starting to do their thing with the female ducks

When should i have my parents looking for eggs in the pen???
